Hello, my name is Pema Chodak. I am from Mugu, Nepal. My village is located near the border of Tibet, China. I used to live with my mother and was in class 1 in my village’s school. Coming here, I got to learn and get better experience in English language and Tibetan language. I also have been learning the Buddhist scriptures, calligraphy and chanting mantras. I love monsoon season. I am very grateful to be here and study and become a monk. I will study really hard and become a wise scholar in the future.
