Hi! My name is Pema Nyendak and I am 9 years old. My village is in Gokule, Kavre. I used to live with my mother and father passed away when I was 5 years ago. I was studying in grade 3 in my village. Currently, I am studying English and Tibetan language. I also chant and read the Buddhist scriptures every day. I love my teachers here as they teach really well and treat all of us good. I did not have good teachers in my village’s school. So, I am thankful for this opportunity. I hope to make my mother proud and my teachers proud by studying hard and being a very educated monk.
