By sponsoring a monk, you are pledging to support their living expenses for a considerable amount of time. It will allow a monk to spend the remainder of their lives living and learning at Namdak Dechenling Monastery. In addition, you endorse the ongoing study and application of the Buddha’s teachings.Providing food, clothing, and medical care for a monk complete scholarship cost only just $30 a month, or $360 a year.
For $15 per month (or $180 annually), you can partially sponsor a monk if a complete sponsorship is out of your price range.The sponsorship payment is not intended for any one monk ; rather, it aids the monastery in providing equal care for all of its members. In this way, you are supporting the entire community of monks, a whole new family, and the benefits of your gift will last for as long as the monastery is in existence. Namdak Dechenling Monastery opposes sponsoring a single monk because your donation should help all of the monastery members. We’ll add your name and contact information to our Facebook page. Your name will be added to the annual specific rituals and puja that Namdak Dechenling Monastery offers for all of the monastery’s sponsors and supporters.
